The “Brisbane South Challenge”, part of the Science and Engineering program for Year 10 students, was well supported by volunteers from our Springwood, Logan Village, Greenbank and Park Ridge Probus clubs again this year.

In March 2026, 29 members of the Ipswich Probus Club visited Government House in Brisbane.

Around 30 members of the Fraser Coast – Hervey Bay Combined Probus Club gathered for a relaxed and sociable Pizza night, hosted at the spacious home of fellow members Sue and Phil.

The first Information Days for 2026 were held at Belmont Services club on 13th April, and North Lakes Hotel on 14th April.

Twenty members enjoyed their morning tea on the mezzanine floor above the aircraft below on the hanger floor and chatted to Lyn Zuccolli, wife of the late Guido Zucolli, and Annamaria, his daughter.

February’s “Day Trip” was a leisurely cruise on the classic timber vessel “MV Lady Brisbane” from Hamilton to Sanctuary Cove via the Brisbane River and Moreton Bay Islands.

Double Celebration for Carindale Probus Club - Probus Celebrates 30 years in Carindale and 50 years in Australia.

Today at our monthly Carseldine Probus Club monthly meeting we also marked a significant milestone for Probus in Australia as we celebrated 50 years since its inception on the 3rd of February 1976.

Fun and Games in the Valley. At Coomera Valley, we occasionally replace our guest speaker with a game’s session.

A small group of members from the Logan Village Probus Club learnt a new skill and made a Leather Belt in February with the Crazy Craftsman, a local leather smith.

The Wide Bay Region held the annual Ecumenical Service and as usual it was hosted by Gympie Widgee Club.

Bundaberg Probus is a club with a rich history and a happy disposition.

Probus Club of Chelmer and District members were fortunate to have a cooler morning to travel into the city and along to City Hall.
