Our sincere thanks to Trevor and his trusty team members who arrived at Oxley Creek while the mist was still covering all the fields, what a beautiful sight. After ensuring everything, including the BBQ’s, were pristine clean the slicing and dicing of veges and fruits began, plus buttering of the beautifully fresh rolls and bread from Brumby’s. Dee arrived with the onions already cooked. 27 of us participated, including visitor Dave. We began with the fresh fruit whilst the cooks, decked out in their aprons, put on the hamburgers and sausages. What a feast, there was beetroot, pineapple, sliced cheese plus all the usual trimmings to make your own burger or loaded sausage. Replete, we made coffees to sharpen our brains for Trevor’s trivia. Much fun was had by all.
