Something a bit different at Logan Village – Leather Belt Workshop
A small group of members from the Logan Village Probus Club learnt a new skill and made a Leather Belt in February with the Crazy Craftsman, a local leather smith. They firstly learnt about different types of leather and basic tools of the trade before shaping their belts, marking and punching holes, sizing their belts, adding buckles and keepers, and finally burnishing and polishing the raw edges. Members then stayed on for light refreshments before heading home with their new creations. A big thank you to member, Hazel, for allowing us to use her shed for the workshop.
