Ipswich Probus Club explores their region
The Probus Club of Ipswich held its annual observation run. We met at Yamanto, an outer suburb of Ipswich and, once our activities director had handed run sheets to the navigators of each vehicle, we set off in the search of landmarks, signs, plants and animals, in answer to twenty-five questions that tested our observation skills. Our quest took us to a park in the tiny township of Warrill, where we enjoyed a BYO morning tea while we laughed and debated the correct answers to the questions. The morning concluded with lunch at the new greyhound race track near Yamanto, The Q Community. As with all our outings, it was a day of fellowship and fun.
