Sherwood Probus Club

Sherwood Probus Club gets to see the ABC at their studios.

One of our latest outings was a visit to the ABC Studios at South Brisbane. Hosts of the Breakfast Show initiated us into interviewing each other and news reading – an interesting and fun experience.

Most enjoyable was the celebration of our 25th Birthday where Foundation Members Joan, Paul and Lorraine together with members Beth, Dawn and Vada, who joined in 2000, cut our celebration cake. Joan prepared and narrated a Powerpoint presentation of photos of Management Committees and the many tours and fun times from 2000 to 2025, and President Martin presented 25-year Certificates to members who joined in 2000. We enjoyed a celebration lunch.

New member Eileen on joining the club initiated a new activity - a Morning Tea Group. The group has had only two outings but club members have been full of praise and enjoyed themselves.
