BACKGROUND
The first Association in Queensland was formed in November 1992 under the banner of the Probus Association of Brisbane & Districts, however at the first meeting of Delegates on 23rd April 1993, the name was changed to the Probus Association of Queensland Inc.
PAQ is administered by a management committee of elected volunteer Probians, and was formed to help, advise, assist and coordinate activities between Probians and Probus clubs, without, in any way, infringing on their autonomy.
