Fraser Coast- Hervey Bay Combined Probus Club hosts the Annual Regional Past President's Luncheon.

This year the Fraser Coast- Hervey Bay Combined Probus Club hosted the Annual Regional Past President's Luncheon was held at the Waterfront Restaurant, Hervey Bay. Guests attended from Gympie Maryborough and Bundaberg, and of course Hervey Bay. What began as a relaxed and enjoyable gathering of Probus Past Presidents quickly became a newsworthy occasion with the TV crew joining us to capture the spirit and camaraderie of the group. There was plenty of laughter, conversation and good humor as members caught up with old friends and enjoyed the opportunity to share in the Probus experience. The television cameras certainly added a touch of excitement to the luncheon, and everyone was delighted to be part of the occasion. Then came the big surprise- we made it onto the local evening news bulletin! Seeing our Probus group featured on television was a wonderful way to showcase the friendship, fellowship and community spirit that Probus is all about. It was a great reminder that our organization continues to bring people together, create friendships and provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy life after retirement.
